This class is the ultimate practice session. It is also an excellent way to get into the competitive shooting sports, without the pressure of being at an actual match to do so. Students will have the opportunity to run through a variety of stage setups with one on one feedback, as well as run skill development drills that are meant to complement the stage performance and results!
This is also a great opportunity to get to test different theories in a training setting, allowing you to try different strategies and see what works best for YOU and your current skillset and abilities.
Topics covered include:
- Initial cold on-demand performance assessment.
- Discussion of the USPSA scoring system and how it might influence your strategies and plans.
- How to break down a stage and prepare for your run.
- Time savers based upon your individual skillset and strategies.
- Visualization and Cue development to maintain a better focus on YOUR process, not the outcome.
- Learn how to program and execute better!
Some of the instructional blocks will be:
- Dryfire warmup routine to get you dialed in and ready to perform well WITHOUT needing to fire a live round before the match.
- Improving your transition ability in order to be on and off targets quicker and more precisely to score more points in less time.
- Learning how to track and shoot moving targets, and how to start to plan out activation sequences to score more points in less time.
- Learn how to flow through positions better for more points per second.
